Jay did a talk about All the Noise in the World. That hit Bobby. Yes, so many are trying to get above the noise…

Bobby was in a hairband, and opened for them. He had more hair then. Creating Noise…haha!

Bobby & Jay got into a big discussion about how noisy the world is. Bobby believes it is part of the problem in the world today. To get above the noise, you have to do something negative and polarize the world….to Go Viral.

So, what can we do? Bobby & Ryan said anything we do adds to the noise.

Jay was in a different conversation: which became noise as he was in it….he was more interested in listening to the other conversation. Wanting to be in the conversation he was in, but having a nagging thought of FOMO (fear of missing out) what in the other conversation was he missing.

That is part of the problem. A lot of different messages. Can only listen to one at a time. You have to focus on one.

Bobby says anything we do is going to be a part of the noise. He was talking about stuff he watched and really liked. Jay’s eyes showed he was overwhelmed. He had stuff he wanted to listen to.

Bobby just wanted to unplug at that point. Head to the woods. It can be defeating.

Negative Sound. Noise.

Kevin talks about a Fed EX ad of color bar test screen and TONE. At the end it said, there should have been an ad here…but, “pitch” for Fed EX.

How do you fight against the noise. They did with this ad. 24 seconds of dead air in the middle of the Super Bowl.

Everybody can’t do this.

There are other ways you can do that with your message. The problem is you can’t just stop. How do you pull out and stop adding to noise?

Ryan shared, while he was in graphic design school, he was learning…

Bobby created visual noise. Oops.

Ryan pointed out the billboards, that are now digital. All this is thrown at us. A world we live in. It is what it is. We live in it. But, Ryan believes there is so much rhetoric and everyone’s 5 seconds of fame.

Bobby says that’s why there are school shootings. Their only message to the world is by hurting other people.

Ryan says they are outletting.

Kevin says you rarely remember who did it, you usually remember the city.

Business is also guilty of using rhetoric.

To Bobby rising above the noise means, unless we move away to the mountains, we are already adding to the noise. The only choice we have, is what kind of noise we want to put out? Neg or Most Connected to the Love Energy, noise.

Bobby’s hope and vision is that the B4G guests go out and make some #GoodNoise and do good things in the world that can be duplicated.

The media is out of control. It’s a war! Good against all the yucky crap in the world. The Mike Roe Show on FB is so moving. Good Stuff. Will Smith, too…always saying positive things.

For Bobby…let’s take it on in a beautiful and loving way. Not Warriors! (create with your world)

Soul Ninjas and such are a way to acknowledge there is super bad stuff out there. We need Warriors! We need more heroes!

Jay speaks to what we are fighting for, even if we think of ourselves as Peacemakers?

What are we going to fight for? Fight for Peace? Peaceful Resistance – Ghandi

Fought a war by sitting down. Getting a whole country to sit down.

The civil rights movement in the 60’s had civil rights leaders saying we cannot level to the violence. We must resist.

MLK Jr. said, “Only Love Can Do That”.

Bobby reads the Love excerpt from 8 Wisdoms. He was a warrior.

Absolutely.

Paraphrase it, with Good Against the Noise.

Hatred creates Noise.

Love dissolves it.

Generally talking about the Volume in which the world is spinning this day. So much of everything. It’s loud. It’s noisy.

All platforms are for AMPLIFICATION.

Adds volume to a message.

The world we are doing business in, raising children, doing good…has never been more noisy.

When we turn the volume up, it makes it louder all over!

Negativity is the noise that is really loud. Haters is a generally-accepted term.

Haters of each other…Bobby notices how many on FB hates each other.

Keeping opinions to ourselves…or not. It’s loud and deafening. Blinding.

Negativity is a spectrum of light. The way we can balance it out is by doing the #GoodAgainsttheNoise

Differences of opinions and thoughts, and focus on the good parts of what you are creating in this world.

Kevin says, looking at politics, whatever side you are on, the other side is out to “destroy the country”.

Crazy Thought: You never heard Kevin talk about a Magnetic Message.

Magnetics polarize. Convincing people they are wrong: Polarize

Magnetize: Trying to share what is good about what I believe, allowing someone else to say what they believe.

We are trying to tell people what is wrong with their beliefs.

Ryan says adding good noise to already good noise. Bringing together, rather than pushing apart.

People aren’t purposeful in creating all the noise. Jay says people just want to put the content out there. Perfecting artifacts…Ryan adds.

For the purpose of setting us apart. There is a fight to cut thru the noise. The way we go about it might be polarizing, or magnetizing and influencing people.

Creating more relationships, more understanding.

Ryan shares, last night at an event bringing people together. A competitor offered to step back, but Ryan insisted they be there.

Spirit of Cooperation. In business coaching, one approach is consultative. Listening to create the plan. Rather than Authoritative.

Listening to the good in the noise. Or Listening FOR the good in the noise.

Challenge everyone to not only create positive messages, but influence people to listen quietly. Thoughtfully. Listen to the whole message before ‘barking out’.

Jay talks about going viral. Instead of focusing on things, & it’s okay to win people over 1 at a time.

Old paradigm ON BIG. But, there is so much to one at a time. One life at a time.

Many are thinking in terms of numbers. What about the individual doing it one at a time. Client. Patient. Customer.

Bobby mentions suicide statistics. Much of that is noise. But, hearing about 1 boy that takes his life is more impactive than the statistical reference.

Everybody loves everybody in a foxhole.

If I went across to the enemy…like some movies depict. They come out best buddies.

Jay talks about statistics and analytics. Each one represents a person. If doing good against the noise is important, let’s look at real people. What is life like. There’s bad stuff out there. They are real people.

Kevin mentions the FB videos that get 10 million views. The one where ‘that guy’ does…something.

As opposed to a business that offers great stuff every day. Not polarizing, insane actions. Just Noise. Followed by the next one.

You Tube is making more competition to get paid. More Noise.

We all need to try to connect to the good. Listen for it. Promote it.

It’s out there.

Having that space and attitude. We all have known trials in our lives. Ryan, what’s your Good News?

Ryan says, “I got lots”.

If we are looking for the hate and haters. That’s what we are gonna see.

Kevin tells about his kids loving the Disney movie Frozen. “We were just talking about you…All Good Things” (heehee)

Was that noise?

Jay cut thru the noise to acknowledge his son. Was that noise for 99% of the listeners? It reached 1 listener. And, that is what is important.

Need our listeners…they all agree they talk to themselves too much.
