Guest Interview: Julie Lee
Let’s get to know Julie right now. Welcome to the show! She has listened, so knows what she is into. Tell us about Julie:
A native to Springville. Bobby loves red, even if he’s not a big Utah fan. Went to BYU. Met her best friend there. Her husband. Taught second grade for a few years. Seven and eight year olds. 27 kids in a class. Decided to come home and raise her kids. Super challenging. Loves structure as a teacher, and knowing whats she is going to do. Mothers are super heros!
Published the book in October of last year. Who has long hair? A princess who grows broccoli from her head. Gotta get the book to find out. Fractured Fairy Tale.
Goes and talks to youth groups about self empowerment. Need more super heros out there. So many kids are being effected negatively. They need to know they have value.
What does Biz4Good mean to you?
Would not be doing this work, but sometimes it is humbling and they believe in what they are doing. The good message you are spreading is what makes it all worth it. Life is better.
You get more when you give!
Not giving up. The good is what keeps you going.
Good lasts longer. Sustainable.
All the positivity and good keeps you going.
Julie tells about her story. The book she wrote about the princess with broccoli for hair. She was not happy about it. She hates having broccoli for hair. Moral of the story…you will have to read it.
She has to decide between two things. What makes you different is what makes you powerful. Kids at schools look at what they are born with. Those are their super powers!
When you are different and embrace your differences, that is what makes you powerful.
Young children losing hope. Julie wants to make a difference.
You have to talk nice to yourself and empower yourself. Noone can change those voices in your head. But, you. Fill your head with good stuff makes all the difference.
Her husband cries at everything, too. Don’t feel bad Bobby….
How can we reach Julie?

Why do you personally feel so passionate about spreading this message of self-acceptance and empowerment?
When Julie was young she battled with self esteem issues. So many youth are struggling now. Finding weakness are becoming strengths. The way she talks to these kids is by being who we were meant to be. We will be unstoppable and happier. She wanted to share that message.
I’m unstoppable today! Bobby loves that song.
Thanks Julie for being on the show! Come Back ☺
