Saving Lives with Cannabis-Based CBD Treatment in Utah

The Ericksen family has been providing healthcare in Northern Utah since 1989. The family was the very first to bring complete continuum of Assisted Living care to the elderly in Davis County.  Shane has worked with his father and their family company developing: medical clinics and senior living facilities.

Shane Ericksen grew up as a Military brat moving all around the world. His father, Dr. Corey Ericksen is a renowned medical physician. Shane lived in a house where he could self-medicate whenever he needed; whether it was for sleep, or a cold. He was always taking medication, to the point where his father was convinced Shane was bipolar or had ADD. Shane would abuse any medication he could get his hands on. There was this pattern of an unhealthy relationship with medication experiencing unreliable results with traditional medicine. This led Shane to his passion for natural wellness helping those who suffer from addiction, and substance use disorder.

These diseases are growing more and more every year and faster than ever before. There is such a disconnection in the world today, constantly pulling us away from reality, mesmerized by the screen. It is forcing us to become more isolated and addiction is a disease of isolation.

Shane found a 12 step program that worked for him. Surrendering his will each day, serving others, and going to meetings. For his physical body he found that CBD changed the way he felt. For the first time in his life he was able to set down the Xanax, which is a Benzodiazepine. Shane has a high functioning mind causing sleeplessness, restless leg syndrome, and tends to be really ADD and ADHD during the day, mind jumping. He discovered that taking an all natural supplement (CBD) helped him feel more centered and grounded, leading him to a more positive experience and life.

Who is CBD really for? Everyone. But again, like traditional medication the effects are different for everyone, it is recommended to always go natural so CBD is the way to go.

What does Biz4Good Mean to you?

There is so much opportunity in this AMAZING country to earn a living for our families, to create wealth and prosperity that can be passed on. While, at the same time, improving humanity overall. There is a lot of business ventures that are legal, but really I have not been able to become passionate about those, even if there was money involved. Because at the end of the day… what are you really left with?
